Thursday 20th February and Friday 21st February 2025
Morning session 10am – 11:30am
Afternoon session 1pm -2:30pm
Once upon a time the children went down to the woods for an amazing time at Forest School! We are having a Forest School adventure this February half term with two days of Fairy Tale themed fun. Join us for enchanting, natural crafts, wonderful woodland games for little Prince and Princesses and camp fire snacks fit for a King and Queen.
Thursday – Turrets & Tiaras
Little Kings and Queens are invited to craft royal forest crowns, before marching through the deep dark woods on a quest to Sleeping Beauty’s tree top tower. Let see if we can wake our fair princess up by making lots of NOISE with our forest school instruments! Then it’s off to the ball for a royal banquet of marshmallows and hot chocolate!
Friday – We’re are Going on a Three Bears hunt!
Someone has been sleeping in my bed! Adventure through the forest on a hunt for poor little baby bear and cheer her up by building a new house! Oh no someone’s eaten the porridge all up! Cook up a storm with Goldilocks in the mud kitchen before skipping like Goldilocks back home to the camp fire for a tasty honey bear’s treat!
Our parent and child Forest School sessions are the perfect way to have some family fun in the great outdoors and these special sessions are great for children aged from 2 – 6 years so big brothers and sisters can come along too. Sessions are 1 hour 30 minutes long with arty-crafty making, fun foresty games and exciting outdoor activities; giving children (and grown-ups!) a chance to play and make friends. We go ahead whatever the weather, adapting our activities accordingly so dress for the any weather! Sessions finish up in style with a yummy snack round the campfire.
The cost is per child, adults do not need to book a place for themselves. Children under 2 years are welcome to accompany a paying sibling at no charge. Please contact us if you have any questions about activities or age ranges. Any additional adults will need to purchase a Painshill admission ticket.
